Default Header bolt question

I'm putting on JBA shortys. I need a set of 8mm - 1.25 x 25 header bolts instead of the stock 1.25 x 32 .

Is there anything wrong with going to the hardware store and buying some plain old grade 8 bolts and a set of appropriate washers and just using those. I'm having trouble finding a set locally that will fit.

I found these online and i assume they would work, but i'd rather not have to wait for them: http://www.carshopinc.com/product_in..._id/39954/978G

nope, nothing wrong with it. you should be able to get some stainless ones as well. cheap and viable alternative to buying a set with a 'name' on it!

i read in some guys ebay auction that certain types of uncoated bolts need anti-seize when installing them in an aluminum block. is this true?
