Default Pics! Custom Over the Axle Duals - Flowmaster 40 series do fit afterall

I think I listened to every sound clip on the internet 10 times over before finally deciding. I loved the sound of 10 series (1 chambers) but wanted to do something different, so I went with the 40 series (2 chambers). A lot of people didn't think they would fit, but the mufflers are tucked up higher than any other part of the whole system.

HUGE thanks to Bill - He even did this in his garage, not at the shop. I have more pics if any guys are curious about placement. I need to figure out a way to get a sound clip; It really sounds great.

Wow. I'm impressed. We all just need 2 things:

1.) Pics of the system with the car up on a lift
2.) Several sound clips, and I say several because not many people have this done

So, how does it sound?

Looks like great ground clearance. I assume this is a stock height car?

Thanks for the comments guys!

I'll get some sound clips one way or another.

The ride height is stock. I want to lower it, but then again I also want to get Bogarts and ET streets, in which case I wouldn't lower it.

I have more pics if anyone is curious about placement or anything.

The idea that 40 series are hard to make work pertain to putting them under the rear floorpans.

Are those QTP headers? Those tuck up well and are clean. Im thinking about redoing my exhaust this summer, bc it hangs too low. Im thinking about doing it this way now. How about a video or sound clip.

Are those the 40 series race muffles??? That's what I'm running only mine are dumped before the axle... I had to "massage" the floor pan some on each side, other than that clearance is fine.... But they're not a 3" muffler, I went 3' into the x-pipe then reduced down to 2.5" at the muffler... I did that becuase the 2.5" mufflers have a 3" tall case, which is more ideal since I'm lowered.
