Default What the HELL is going on?!?!?!

today i raced an evo on the freeway...slowed down to about a 30mph roll and hit it from 1st...shifted to 2nd and let off becuase there is a car that switched into my lane...i take it out of gear as i'm braking and when i try to get back into gear i can't because my clutch pedal is stuck to the floor...it stays there for about 10 seconds and slowly comes back to normal...its happened to me about 3-4 times now and its driving me crazy!! any idea what it might be??

what kind of clutch are you running? do you know your HP/Tq numbers? it might have alot to do with your clutch setup if you have high HP.

Check out the Manual Transmission section. This happends to the best of us. Best thing to do is the drill mod and replace your hydraulics with a 01-02 master and slave cylinder. Here is a sticky in that forum Sticking clutch pedal write-up.

Sounds like your master cyliner is on its way out. This problem is almost 99% always a result of failing hydrolics. When you replace it I would also suggest goin ahead with a LS7 clutch upgrade, new slave & possibly a new pilot bearing while your in there. Also you can wrap your hydrolic line on the new master with either some header wrap or some other heat shielding to help keep the fluid from overheating.

welcome to world of the sh!tty LS6 clutch system. Mine does that too, do it with 415 RWHP....

anyways, go with the LS7 clutch someone correct me if i am wrong, but the LS7 clutch holds up to 500+ RWHP..

Also you fill need the following: New Slave, since your a 00, you will need the new upgrade master cylinder, piolt bearing, TOB

good luck
