Did you seat it with the old bolt and an impact wrench or breaker bar? Have you had a torque wrench on it? I've used a March after market pulley for the past five years, so that the only one I'm familiar with.

What did the old one look like before you removed it? I'm guessing you don't remember.

I would go more, until it's flush.

You have to make it flush.

I didn't think they went flush. It seems like the bolt wouldn't be holding it as tight if it went flush. The bolt would be torqued against the pulley and the end of the crank at the same time. Just stick the belt on it and see if it lines up. If it does, it's seated.

yep go with thebelt method see if it all lines up you will be able to tell and if not crank it some more

after i got my belts on with my powerbond it almost looked like i went a millimeter or so to far. i don't really know but i just left mine where it was. i am not sure how i could possibly go to far so i figured i didnt.
