Default Seal the FRA?

I had FTRA for 2 years. When I had the engine redone, JPR did FRA and we removed the FTRA.

What benefit ( if any ) is there to sealing the front of the airbox with the strip from the FTRA?

Does it help FRA or is it a waste?

Default Re: Seal the FRA?

My personal opinion, "more air is better". I run a Whisper Ram Air with a WS6 lower airbox and baffles out of the hood.

I say.. don't seal it up.
