Default running just headers

i have used the search button for the past month to research this but i want to post my own to make sure. im puttin headers on my 99 z28 a4 but the exhaust shop is about 40 miles away can i drive it just with headers with no problems.. my concern is that its to cold out

let it warm up and go.... dont take it on any crazy WOT runs and be easy on it in general.... you'll be alright... watch those cops, I'm sure they wont like the noise.

The car probably won't run as good as your used to but the main problem your gonna have is the O2 sensor in the collector in gonna be exposed to oxygen tricking the PCM into thinking the engine is running lean. The PCM is gonna dump fuel like there is no tomorrow, so your gas milliage will be crap on the trip.

Don't get on it too bad, the rapid cooling can shock the valve springs. I ran open headers for 4 months, and it ruled haha.

most people say to run a length of pipe at least 12" long, so as not to get much air to the o2's...
