Modified My Front Bumper Support
I was bored over the weekend, so I decided I would try to increase the ariflow through my radiator.
It's really simply. Just take off the lower air damn and then the bumper. I decided to leave the bumper support on when I cut it because I found out that there isn't a straight shot from the holes I made to the radiator (I was hoping it would be a direct shot similiar to my 89 RS).
To cut the holes I just took a metal filer, poked a hole in foam, and 'sawed' my way around the inside of the metal rectangular opening.
Conclusion: It's not a direct flow of air, but it seems better than nothing (every little bit helps). If you have plenty of time on your hands, this is an easy and free mod to do.

As you can see, there is 'stuff' between the bumper support and the radiator

I can't tell a difference due to the stock gauges, but when I install my Interceptor gauge in a few hours, I just might find out.
But apparently I won't at all. I wouldn't say ALL of the air is escaping, but you're right, just MOST of it. Haha.
Like I said, I was bored and had some free time.

I found that by removing the plastic baffles in front of the condensor/radiator, washer reservoir, cutting holes in the absorber, and enlarging the existing holes in the bumper bar I was able to drop my coolant temperatures by a significant amount in the 100* summer heat. When both fans come on I can actually feel air being pulled through these holes too. I've left the lower air deflector but I believe in this mod. I did it about three years ago and haven't looked back.
