Default mufflers for true duals?

I was looking for some opinions from the guys with duals. Right now I have pacesetter LT's with TSP TD's (w/Dynomax bullets), with them run out the back. I will have cutouts on soon and was looking to get some deeper and slightly quieter mufflers. I've heard that the borla X-R1's (either oval or straight threw) sound good. I heard a cobra with magnapacks that sounded sweet, has anyone used these on their car? What setup are you guys running and are happy with? I'm looking for a bit of a deeper sound, what should I be looking into? Thanks

Sound may be even more subjective than color preferences and just as difficult to describe but....

Can you describe the sound you are looking for?

Crazy loud
Mellow and throaty
60's muscle car
Mustang
Nascar
No rasp

I have a preference for Magnaflow because it flows almost as good as a wide open cut-out but has a very low throaty muscle car sound.

I probably could of made my post a little clearer. Really more like a non raspy, deeper sound, (maybe a touch of early muscle). Still really mean sounding and I dont really care how loud cause the new setup will have e-cutouts either way. I've been looking for LSX cars with magnapack mufflers but haven't found any, only stangs. Right now i'm thinking either some magnaflows or the x-r1's.

Flowtech Raptors. Fairly quiet, deep, and very inexpensive (~20 bucks a pop). I've been through about 5 or 6 different true duals setups, and this is by far my favorite

Lets hear some more of the duals setups that are out there. Anyones thoughts, opinions, or experiences are more than welcome. Has anybody heard or used some powersticks (similar to GMMG catback) on there duals? I know there are some more TD's guys out there, post up with your setups.

I don't think I have heard those, are they like the GMMG chambered mufflers? Do you have a clip of your exhaust?

Yeah, even with it run out the back its not as deep as I want. I want something different but don't want to experiment with 20 mufflers before I find the right sound. Right now I'm thinking E-cutouts right off the header (to scare people and animals ), with either magnaflow ovals or borla xr1's out the back, to be a little quieter but still sound pissed just deeper with a nice tone .

Do you have any clips of it while driving?

That's music to my ears. I just order two 4x9 oval magnaflow mufflers for my true duals today. Gonna go pacesetter longtubes / offroad X / dumped magnaflow one chambers. I'm hoping that's the sound I'm looking for.

I just ditched the dynomaxx bullets and had some magnaflow bullets installed today on my x-pipe. The sound is sooooo much better! much deeper and it quiet it down a bit... actually, a little too much for my taste. I think im going to go back tomorrow and have them gut my cats.

What size magnaflows did you get and what style are they? Are they the true bullets or the straight through ovals? I dont have cats so I'm hoping that will be just the sound I'm looking for. Post a vid if possible. Thanks
