Exclamation Could u fit dual 1 chambers before the tips?

I had a strange idea. Could you fit a 1chamber on each side right before the exhaust tip on a Trans Am rear valence? This would be going with a LM2 setup.

I'd be more interested to see if you can fit 2 40 series Flowmasters there just like they do on the Mustangs. I would think that would be the best way to get closest to the "classic Mustang Flowmaster sound" - same mufflers and same muffler placement.

Ya it wouldn't be all choked up either, like those running a single one.

Friend of mine did it. They went in cocked at a strange angle and we painted them flat black because they could be seen from the back of the car, but he got them in. But it was a pretty loud set up and he ended up ditching it for that reason.

I like loud. I'm running LT's with a dumped cutout. Loud means nothing to me

How did it sound? Was it at all Mustang-like in tone?

I'm running dual 40 series race mufflers dumped & it's stupid loud, but does have that mustang flowmaster sound to it.. I just got a set of cme tips & ordered the valance from surface mods... I'm gonna run some pipes under the axle, but leave the mufflers under the car... I'll post some pics & try to get a vid once I get it all done.
