Default Pacesetter Dyno #'s

Has anybody dynoed the Pacesetter LT's yet? I really want to buy these, but I need dyno numbers first. I have seen a lot of posts about people installing them, the last couple of weeks, surely somebody has been to the dyno since they put them on Is the coating really worth getting? Any performance gain from it, or is it just for looks? How long did it take you guys to get the headers (for those of you that bought them uncoated)?

I wouldn't hold my breath! Us Pacesetter guys are cheap as heck!! Definitely wouldn't spend $75 to dyno this one mod....

OK! How about the butt-o-meter. Have you felt any difference there?

LTs are all going to make the same power... so close a dyno couldn't distinguish them within the margin of error.
Brand names are sales hype. Coating is not much more either.

I thought coating was to prevent rust? I will have you some dyno numbers after this weekend hopefully.

coating should help reduce under hood heat.

I dynoed my car after the install but don't have before numbers other than my car is stock. I have a paper filter, PaceSetter Coated Long Tubes, Offroad Y-pipe, and at the time flow(restrictor) catback and no tuning, no ls6 intake, it dynoed at 324hp. @ dynolab the week of the f-body gathering. This was like 30 miles after I installed the headers as well I didn't let the computer readjust fully. I figure I was at around 300hp or less stock since it was a 99 Z28. Last week I installed a borla catback which seemed to really make a SOTP difference over the flowmaster so I will redyno hopefully for a little higher numbers.

Well, I have a set of the Pacesetters, and let me tell you, the quality of these are awesome!! One of the Phoenix members in my local club used his car as the test car for these headers...he unfortunately has not dyno'd but, from his SOTP, he said it was a very good gain in hp...he said he was able to pull a mustang that he knows, which went 12.7 in the quarter by more than a few car lengths on the freeway from I believe he said like 50-140 range. Granted I dont think the mustang is setup for freeway rolls, but maybe another of the Phx members with these headers will speak up.
