My car smells HORRIBLE!!
Its almost to the point where I cant drive with the windows open...
Anywasy, my car is 1999 A4. It has SLP Lid/Bellow, Pacesetter longtubes and Off Road Y-pipe, !EGR, !AIR, Spintech muffler, and a tune.
I had Nitrous on it and had the plugs gapped to .038, but I changed them back to .055, and when I did there was one that was at about .027 for some reason.
The car smells soooooo bad, like gas and oil and everything you can imagine. It burns my eyes if I drive around with the windows open. Its noticeably worse too if I am drving then let off the gas, its like a huge wiff of it.
Also, the gas mileage is HORRIBLE. I get about 15mpg avereage, and I dod not know what to do...
What can I do to fix this? Could it be in the tune? Or should I replace some parts or do like a tune-up?
Thanks
-Scott

An exhaust leak can cause the O2 sensor to read lean, and then the PCM responds by dumping fuel to compensate. Make sure all exhaust leaks are fixed. If you still have the problem you will need to scan your fuel trims. You may need a VE/MAF tune to get everything in alignment with your LT's & ORY.

First the basic external issues as mentioned: exhaust leaks, vacuum leaks. You may have a bad O2sensor, but you didn't mention any codes. Scanning for DTC's, fuel trims, etc. will give you a snapshot of what's going on in your motor. If you don't have tuning tools yourself, you can see if your tuner will scan it for you.
