loudmouth 1 vs. loudmouth 2

LM1 uses a resonator. LM2 uses a bullet style muffler. LM2 is quieter.
I believe all the new models have the option to replace the bullet muffler with a resonator, and vice versa, without having to do any welding. So you can turn your LM1 into a LM2 if you want.

Most people get the LMII now, which is still pretty loud but sounds decent with headers. Also, if you buy the LMII, it is cheaper to buy the LMI resonator after the fact, which is less than $70.
We have the LM's for a great price here-

I added a 4" diameter Magnaflow bullet muffler to my LM. I cut the crossover pipe and mounted the muffler where the stock muffler is normally located. The Magnaflow bullet is $70 and is a perfect slip on fit on the LM pipe.
The exhaust is still redicolously loud outside the car but the additional muffler eliminated the interior drone and noise completely.
The passenger side tailpipe still allows part of the exhaust gas to exit after going thru only one muffler... that part that exits thru the driver side tailpipe passes thru the second muffler....
