Daily driver
I know some of you go nuts and have crazy daily driver cars, but Im going to have to drive mine through rain/snow, maybe do emmisions testing, and other random daily driver things.
So I know this has been asked a million times but what things can I do that do not need tons of upkeep, do not cost alot, and keep it (mostly) legal. Ive done everything free, a lid, and some weight reduction thus far. Probably going to do a cat back next. Any suggestions?

Re: Daily driver
depending upon how bad the smog checks are there..you should be able to get away with mac headers and y-pipe w/the high flow cats....or some shorty headers with an aftermarket y-pipe and high flow cats...and you could probably even get away with doing the LS6 intake swap...and of course tuning....

Well I have to drive mine all winter, Last winter I couldnt make it up the driveway, slid sideways, and ended up in the grass until the next day when a friend helped tow it out

Re: Daily driver
I would suggest that you get a ASP crank pulley and a Hooker catback, those seem to net pretty good HP, and are completely legal as far as I know. As for driving in the snow I would suggest getting a set of Blizzak tires. I've used them for two winters now, and while they aren't perfect, are a vast improvement over whatever tires you are using now.

Re: Daily driver
eddie: most vendors claim 8-12 hp from pulleys and since the acessories are so overworked from the factory you really dont loose anything from underdriving them
