You'll destroy your 02's, not to mention it may become undriveable. Don't do it. Take the hit on your pride this once and just ride with someone else to the gathering.

I'm talking about messing up the 02's to the point where it may become undriveable while you are far from home. You're just gonna be dumping fuel onto them. Even if you have new 02's, you may be left stranded out somewhere when they finally stop responding. Good choice on staying home.

wouldnt it just go into limp mode if the 02's die?

Yea... ever driven in limp mode? I had a small exhaust leak at my y pipe and it was a struggle to get it to go 25mph, felt like it was going to rumble apart. In this case we're talking completely open headers. Even worse. You're gonna dump so much fuel that not only the 02's will die but you'll also be fouling spark plugs. It will eventually be like slowly pulling a plug wire off each cylinder until it dies.

Lol Assuming your head can take 100 miles your car will not like it. You could even possible hurt the valves with no extensions and the o2's would be shot.

i thought u could drive with open headers as long as u want, if u could bare the noise. one of my friends did it, and nothing happened. but maybe he did something different. not really sure about that.

yeah, i wouldnt recomend it because a few things may happen

1) youll get pulled over and ticketed
2) youll have a massive headache
3)you start to develop interior rattles
4)youll smell like gas for the rest of the day

I'm assuming you were missing the rear one's, not the fronts. No way you would have been able to drive without the fronts. The rears just throw codes.
