What is the maximum power level of ls6 intake
does anyone out there with 59cc or larger heads, 228 or more duration cam, and/or power adder at more than 8 psi run the ls6 intake manifold, im debating installing the FAST 90/90 or the ls6, I plan on running a centrifugal supercharger or sts turbo at around 8-11 psi with heads and a cam, I was wondering if anyone running similar mods has found the intake limiting or if the manifold will flow good numbers under mild and heavy boost upwards of 500rwhp

Well if your going to run heads i would say get the Fast 90 intake port matched with the heads and run that. The LS6 is good if you already got it, and if your not planning on doing much to your motor. But if your going to run heads and a supercharger you will see a greater benefit with the more air the Fast will allow over the LS6.

In general, keep the hp below 520 and the motor will live. I had plans for a D-1 Procharger, Vengence Cam, TFS 215cc heads, Ported 90/90, all bolt on, tune and fuel upgrade, My stock 346 was not going to survive.
Being that said, FI people have had great luck with using the LS6, and when hitting 20+ psi its recommended over the FAST due to possible cracking, but if you going to keep it normal, you can do either one and be fine, the FAST will make more power.

As far as Jeg's and Summit's part descriptions go they say the LS6 intake is only good for 425 hp. Hell you see people making alot more power than that on it. I would say with as far as you plan on taking your mods it would probably be safer to go with the Fast 90/90. It would suck to sink 400-500 dollars in an intake that will only allow your power to go so far and not to be able maximize your investment. Do it right the first time and get what you are looking for, POWER!!

Anyone thinking about putting FI on their car should really look into the FI forum. Check out this thread https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...st#post4688022
Several people report absolutely no gain from going to the Fast 90 over the LS6 intake.

so the general consensus is if you run an NA HCI car its worth the extra money, but once you start adding boost past 1 bar you should stick with the ls6 due to its material
sounds like depends on structural integrity, compression ratio of motor and boost
anyone running PP LS6 stage 2 or AFR 205 mongoose notice and improvement when added fast over the ls6?

Go to KP's web site. You will see that he uses the LS6. (Forced Induction)
I run it on my nitrous motor. Getting tons of power. Not sure if a FAST would be worth the extra money though.
I know Vengeance Racing gets more power out of the FAST when running their H/C/I set-ups.

I gained about 20rwhp when I switched to the Fast 90/90 on my H/C setup. I have nitrous but havent sprayed it yet. I imagine that it will make a slight differance on the bottle with the Fast over the LS6 due to the ability to get more air into the motor.
