Default Need Your Opinions ---> cutouts

Aight, right now i'm sitting on Pacesetter LT's to a 3" ORY w/ dual manual cutouts... then back to a Spintech muffler.

Anyways, i am debating whether or not to ditch the dual cutouts. The only reason i would ditch them would be for the clearance issues (a little over half a coke can right now). I honestly love the sound of an open engine but it wears on me after a while so i plug them up... then i get the open header head again and the cycle continues. But i plan on doing an H/C swap this Christmas so i'm sure open engine is going to sound a bit different, but at the same time i'm not sure if the sound is worth the negative clearance issues... i haven't really run into any serious issues when it comes to clearance, a scrape here and there. But for the peace of mind i'm considering removing them. What do y'all think?

PS. My MAIN concern is CLEARANCE

Buy a pair of electric valves for it, that way when the sound wears on you, you just simply hit a switch. I have dual cutouts with my H/C.... trust me your gona love the sound.

I'm afraid that's only going to further my clearance issue.

play around with the placement a little more, it just takes some finesse. mine had a mock up session to see where they would actually fit and now ive got more than a can (standard unit of measurement for ground clearance) and thats with electric caps

I have had dual cutouts with FLP's on my old car and a single cutout with Qtp'S in the I pipe on this car. I like the single cutout the best IMO.

I just think it sounds better with the one cutout in the I Pipe.
