Default msd coil packs

Has anybody tried these and had any noticable gains or maybe even ran the dyno with these. I was thinking about putting them on but it seemed to be a bit step without any proof of horsepower or 1/4mile gains. If anybody nows a link to show good or bad send it my way.

I saw someone had done a dyno comparison somewhere and he did notice a few if any increase in HP but for over $600 it is crazy! I have a friend putting 891hp to the wheels and he still uses his original coil packs on his 99 Formula!

Biggest waste of money on the market for our cars. The only thing good about them is their advertising tactics on this particular product. The stock packs will support up to like 1000hp, so there isn't any reason or advantage to wasting the $600 on the coil packs.

If you like the look of the red for dressing up the engine bay, just shoot your stockers with a couple coats of paint & clear.

wheel 2 wheel used the stock coil packs on Casper the first lsx based car in the 6's making 1900 wheel. if its good enough for that car i dont think there is a need for aftermarket ones.
