Default 5.3L with 2002 ls6 cam, what pusrod length.

Some say stock length some not. But, because of the smaller base circle doesn't the pushrod need to be lengthend to compensate. Gm used the taller zo6 valves in order to keep from using a specialty pushrod. Based of the height difference in the valves if you use the height of the zo6 valve, convert then add that to the pushrod length I keep coming up with a little less than 7.450. What is the consensus here?

Sounding like a broken record I'm gonna say just dump 20 bucks on a PR length checker and measure. Yea little more downtime for the car but you will no for sure what you will need. Plus it's not really difficult at all... and I have no idea what length you'd need for that setup, sorry. I must say the method you stated to come up with ~7.45 makes pretty damn good sense I must say.

pr lenght checker, will yield the best results,
02-04 z06 ls6 cars came with 7.350 stock pr length, not 7.4 or 7.450
