Default Fast Toys 85mm Air Lid - More Track Testing & User Feedback

The positive feedback on the new Fast Toys 85mm Air Lid just keeps rolling in. We would like to share some of it with you:

I have had just about every lid out there, it is by far the best fitting and best flowing. You notice a big difference in throttle response. I picked up a 10th and 1 mph over my SLP lid and that was back to back runs switching at the track and hot lapping in 80 degree weather. It definitely works.

I've tried a number of aftermaket lids and this one fits incredibly well

Just from logging certain parameters from EFILive, I was AMAZED at how much more air was moving. Hate to sound like a broken record but you guys did an excellent job.

I installed the Fast Toys 85mm Air Lid & SLP 85mm MAF on my Fast 90, H/C setup and picked up 14 RWHP on the dyno. Thanks for a great product!

Installed the FTRA, SLP MAF and your 85mm Air Lid and picked up 1.8 MPH and 2 tenths at the track. This was on a day with similiar conditions to my previous best. Thanks!

Thanks to everyone for your feedback and keep it coming! It encourages us to work on new projects If you have any ideas for products you would like to see, email us at sales@fasttoys.net

Thanks!

I second that it is a nice lid. I havent been to the track, but I am hoping for gains. Just from fit/finish I am very happy.

What MAF do you recommend with this lid?

are there any 85mm mafs that do not require additional tuning besides the pace performance one?

Both the SLP MAF's and the PACE MAF "can" be installed without tuning. However, your BEST results will be with tuning as every car is different.

Any 85mm MAF will work but if you want the absolute best flow, use one without a screen and recalibrate your MAF table to work with it. The Z06 MAF's come without a screen or you can descreen just about any 85mm MAF you want to use.

Would be neat to see a maf vs sd tune on the same car for this lid. Especially since I plan on buying it when I get my new car this spring and i'm not sure which one i'll be doing as of this moment

I don't think so. The volume is not high enough to justify different types of plastic.
