Default Ar/gmmg?

Does anyone have any sound clips of American racing headers with a GMMG catback?

I have the catback, and am strongly considering AR headers with the catted-y. I am very curious to hear sound clips if anyone has any.

Thanks in advance

Pretty much any brand of headers, a catted Y and GMMG will sound the same. Kooks, QTP, Pacesetters, whatever. I have some in my sig.

As Sweetbone said, they're going to sound pretty much like any other headers - which means good with the GMMG. For good sound you definitely want their catted Y. You may have to tune and tweak to get the sound you want (I'm running a resonator in my I pipe), but with what you're proposing, you'll get there.

Excellent, thanks for the help fellas.

Another question..

I have a 2000 (EGR and AIR equipped) any suggestions on weather to keep those systems (I live in MI = no emissions requirements) or should I go with the race header and get those deleted?

I have Pacesetter LTs with a TSP ORY and it sounds badass at idle and wot
the only complaint i have is the echo it has in the 2200-2800rpm range.

It will sound awesome, but much louder and less deep overall. I ended up adding a Magnaflow bullet to the I. It brought back the depth, and it's no longer painfully-loud at WOT. I'm digging it.

P.S. Ditch the AIR and EGR IMO.
