SEMA Spy Photo's Wieand Street Warrior Intake Manifold.
Hey Guys, I had a nice long look at this today at the convention center. They were claiming 30+HP Better then an LS6 intake on a Modified 5.7L. The graph dyno graph they showed me was indeed 30HP stonger in the midrange and fell off to about 10 stronger by 6500rpm. The intake looks good and has some nice features. Its supposed to hit the shelfs in March and retail near $675 From what I was told. I suggested they add Nitrous provisions before final production.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.

Now that's encougaging. It appears that I am don't have to be stuck between my ls6 or a ported ls2 or the rapist intake (i'm speaking of price here) or the ls6 with a 90 mm snout that nobody comments about. Looks and sounds promising. Thanks for the post it made my Friday

we will be allocating these with a group purchase closer to the release date which is scheduled for march 2008. It will accept a 90mm t.b. and will be produced from a composite just like the fast and factory intakes. It will also be available in a composite everbrite finish which is basically like a chrome coating.
It basically makes more streetable power than than fast 90 as well as the ls6, 31hp more at 4200 over the ls6. The fast does flow better above 6200, but we believe with a little port work and good cam matching you will have an awesome setup.
It also includes an adapter setup that lets you upgrade t.b. as needed without buying a new intake. this adapter accepts 3 bolt while the intake itself accepts 4 bolt t.b.
It also has map sensor provisions at the front and rear as well as fuel rail setups for the ls1 ls2 and l92. W
