Default Fast 90/90 gains

Ok so i go tho the track, hoping for that magical 11 second pass and what happenes?... a 12.04 at 114.7 mph, youve gotto be kidding me, so close yet just no satisfaction of an 11 second car. Sure it shifts at 6400 when the peak rpm is 6600 and it should shift at 6800, which prolly looses a tenth but, On a warm summer day, i think the 11's will be an wish to the car gods. How much horsepower do people who put on a fast 90/90 usually get and on the track what kindof gains do you see? Any help from somone with a fast 90/90 (Or nick williams 90 tb) would be greatly appreciated.

For me the horsepower to dollar ratio on these FAST setups are minimal and unless you have money or want a bigger cubed NA are the way to go. I'll take that grand and hook up a Nitrous kit for 100 more horses instead of 20.

Not an answer to your question but everything I have read indicates that unless you are going with some big cubes and/or head and big cam, you might as well save the money and just get an LS6 intake (unless money is not an issue - then just get the best and get the FAST).

Most people say that the fast is a waste if youre not doing a h/c swap. I just recieved my 90/90 setup and will be installing it with my new h/c. Id just go with the ls6 if you arent doing a h/c

there are a few threads that show the gains in the dyno and drag racing sections. Here is a recent one https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamometer-results-comparisons/797253-5-7-h-c-ported-fast90-lt-ewp-pulley-s.html he added a few other things beside the fast 90 but as you can see he gained 4 tenths and 3 mph or so, also in his graph you can see that he didn't lose any lowend by going to the fast 90/90 but for some reason some people think you lose lowend

u should just get a cam and a ls6 intake, for the price off the fast u could get both and u will easy make 60+ hp like that and worry about getting the 1.75 rockers also the cam will go good with ur stall, ull launch harder and differently be in the 11's

what cam are you running ? the fast 90/90 unported should pick up a mild cam only setup 10-12 rw or so so i'd expect .1 -.2 tenths gain in the 1/4.

im running a 233/239 .598/.603 112 LSA and stock throttle body and stock LS1 intake. I would say my cam is fairly large.
