90mm TB with LPE Aluminum Intake. Has Anyone Done It? I have an LPE alumininum intake sitting around collecting dust and recently purchased a NW throttle body. It looks like the intake could be ported to a larger diameter. I don't think the full 90mm is possible, but at a quick look, maybe around 86-87mm might be possible. I know the NW is a five bolt pattern, but I think I can work around that. Has anyone tried this, and what were your results?
I know the FAST 90 is a better chioce, but that's not what I'm looking to do right now. I also know about all the issues with the aluminum intake, but some, who have taken the time to smooth the inside of the casting, and port match it to the heads, have had some good results. No need to revisit those topics.Thanks for any info.
