Default Rear O2 Sims

I have a TD set up with LT's and am throwing 3 codes. EGR, and 2 02 sensor codes. so my question is, if i get rear O2 simulators, will it take off the codes? and are their any draw backs to the O2 sims?

it will take care of the rear O2 codes but not EGR. I have sims on my vette as of now but since I have EFI live I think I'm just going to delete the rear O2s in the pcm. That is the best way to do it anyway.

Ah, thanks, i know it wont change the EGR, but i figure the less N/R's showing for inspection the better. how many miles can you get outta O2 sims? inspection is going to be a bitch im afraid cause of the sniffer.

Sims work for some cars, but will not for others. Sims can fail (do a search). Your best bet is to tune them out. If you don't have tuner access, you can trick them. See threads below:

If you're gonna get the EGR code deleted might as well delete the rear 02 sensor codes deleted as well. Therefore saving yourself some money on those 02 sims

no cats..

reason i said something about the 02's in the rear was because i was told even if you tune them out the still show up not ready on the obdII machine. so i figured if i get 02 sims in the rear thats one less n/r thats going to show up.
