The install was pretty easy and straight forward. They look great, sound great, and perform great. I also installed a TSP catted Y-pipe. Not so in love with that. I took it to a muffler shop to install/weld the y-pipe. They had to refab the whole drivers side, because the cat sits right under the brake lines. It would boil them. Even when you look at the picture on their website, the cat is right under the brake lines. I'm not really complaining, I should have paid closer attention, but "it is what it is." Otherwise, I would recommend to anybody thinking about it to get a set. They woke my car back up!! Along with a tune, I'm getting 335 hp to the wheels. ls6 intake to come!!

You just never hear the installation complaints about Pacesetters that you do about most other brands.

I'm doing my install this weekend... I haven't heard any other complaints about the catted TSP y pipe, are you sure you have the cat in the right spot?

Ok, newbie dummie question, what is TSP? I am deciding between Pacesetter or XS Headers, ORY, no cats, but what is this TSP?
Sorry, not trying to jack thread, Good to read more good feedback on install w/ the pacesetters, I am leaning more towards them.

TSP = Texas Speed and Preformance.

Happy to see you like the headers

Which pacesetters are you getting? Are there different styles or coatings? Who has them for cheap?

The guy who tuned my car said this is the 3rd or 4th revision of the Pacesetters, so they've apparently gotten better. Yeah, the AIR system was a PITA!! I know I had the cat in the right place, you can look at thier website and see how close the drivers side is to the brake lines!! That can't be a good thing. My y-pipe was rubbing when I take a hard right under throttle. I had them weld the headers to the y-pipe and it fixed that and obviously took care of the small leak I couldn't get rid of. I didn't "want" to weld them on, but I'll cross the road of removal when I get there. I was kind of hesitant to put them on, but they sound great!!

My pacesetters went in easy also and looked good for about 6 months. After that the collector area has gotten quite a bit of rust and these were the coated ones.
