Does Anyone Know Of A Write Up On The 6.0 Lq4 Block That Shows Where To Drill And Tap The Holes For A Ls1 Alternator On The Drvr Lower Side????.....

take the bracket and fit it up against the block, one hole you wont be able to use, another you can kind-of see were the boss would be, it would take a m10 1.5 thread
or you could just get a bracket to mount it on the passenger side head

cool......thanks for the thread count and tap size....i needed that for sure.....my brother is supposed to email a witeup on the whole process but this will help.......

dont you think the alt. on the top kinda looks funny on a ls1 car.....i just lined up a sts system also so i will be needing all kinds of help....
