Default pulled my plugs today and curious

my ls1 has about 112k on it now the plugs i had in there were tr55's had them in there for about 12k, i ran a tank of race gas about 2 months ago, and had to change the 02 sensors after, the car ran fine so i didn't think to look at the plugs, i pulled them today and they were brown/black and the threads had oil on them but my car doesn't burn oil . any ideas? are the plugs brown from the race gas?

As long as it's a golden brown colour your laughn! The black however is most likley carbon build-up so plugs deffinantly wouldn't be a bad idea. Race fuel will just burns a little faster and cleaner if im not mistaken.

Race gas burns slower to prevent detonation

The higher the octane, the slower the burn, or resistance to burning.
