Default hooker shortys or pacesetter mid lengths?

which will give me the most powergains? the hooker shortys have bigger primaries, but the pacesetter mid lengths are kind of like a mini LT but the primaries are no where near as big

note: long tubes wont fit in my application lol

easy formula... longer = more power....

long tubes > mid-lengths > shorties > stock manifolds

actually, now looking at them side by side looks like the shortys drivers side has longer tubes than the mid lenghts, but some tubes on the shortys are not as long as the mid length tubes on the passenger side

Actually long tubes will fit your application, depending on which ones you get. I know for a fact that the OBX long tube headers fit . I might have mounted my motor a little differently tho.

my engine is mounted a little to far forward, so my upper control arm bracket is right in the way if i want to use long tubes

any bit helps right? lol

each tube seems to be the same length wise, maybe shortys might be better just because the primaries are a tad bit bigger. what do you think?

I think the performance difference between them would be unnoticeable and negligible. The mid-lengths look kinda short for mid-lengths. The larger primaries don't matter THAT much as compared with LT's because it was traveling through that primary so quickly into the 3" collector that your not getting much of that scavenging effect anyways.

Personally... between those two, I would do whichever one would be cheaper/easier as the difference would be pretty much squat.

Ah, i got lucky then. The headers on my drivers side barely touch the bracket .
