Default Manifold bolts, question

In the process of doing a pacesetter and tsp catted y pipe instalation over the next few days, so far i've got everything out except for the passenger side manifold... Damn those bolts are just hard to get to, i've got the coil pack off on that side which helped a bit but when I started on the 2 middle bolts next to where the dipstick is, (was), I noticed that the tip of the bolt started to thread a bit, my stupidity for using the none 6 end of the wrench. With the 6 point end of the wrench on it's fine but I don't seem to have enough power to crank it, think it's ok to slip a pipe over the wrench and give'er slowly?

I didnt even have to take my coil packs off, I justy removed the a/c for the time being on my passenger side and the wires and plugs. Thats it man should be able to get to everything just fine then...Put a 10mm on there with a socket wrench and take it slow
