Default What Exhaust System do I have?

A few questions:

1) The one thing (besides wheels) that the previous owner did to the car is he put LT Headers and True Duals on it. I remember looking for a name brand engraved on the exhaust or something when we had my car on the lift, but no luck on finding out what exhaust I have.

I'd really like to know... I have a few pics of under the car, would some of you be able to have a clue what type it is via visuals? I always like knowing what I have on my car.

2) I want to remove my !AIR. The headers are not race headers, so the air pump is connected to the headers. I, however, have no cats, so there is no need for the AIR. (just glasspacks).

The car has O2 sims from what it looks like, and I am not throwing any codes. If I remove the AIR would I throw a code even considering I have no cats, headers, etc with no codes thrown? clearly the previous owner had them tuned out. Or will the AIR trigger a whole new thing that could throw a code?

Thanks!

Texas Speed & Performance dual exhaust...don't know about the headers...could be Hookers or Pacesetters.

Removing the AIR system will throw a code...you can have it tuned out, though. The rear O2 sensors only tell the PCM if the catalytics are working. The AIR system injects air into the exhaust to help heat the cats up quicker when they are cold. AIR will throw a code because it is unplugged...a different code from the one it throws for defective cats.

those look exaxctly like my pacesetters as well
more then likly those are like mentioned the tsp true duals w/ dumps
could be sweet thunders or bullits for mufflers, post a sound clip and people could probly tell ya which ones they are.
pull the air system you'll throw a code, but it wont hurt anything and can be tuned out

Yeah, wouldn't expect anything less with the pinion seal!

When I took it in to two places to get the car checked on before I bought it, they all said the car checked out 100 percent besides the pinion seal. Both the dealership and the independent place we took it to (and usually go to, we know them pretty well) said the leak wasn't bad enough to replace as long as you checked it out here and there... Even though it looks like more than a "minor" leak lol.

One thing for sure, I won't be changing it, as I don't want to try. Problem is, I bet it's expensive in labor to take it in to get fixed.
