Default throttle body porting question

what do i need to port a stock throttle body ? i have a air die grinder any suggestions or is there anything else i need to get like bits etc ?

with how cheap some of the people do them on here, let them do it. its too easy to screw up.

^^^Yep......there are two guys on here that do them and they will take your old one off your hands too for a core.

if you wanted to try it yourself you just need some abrasive rolls (sandpaper rolls) and go easy. Don't hit up the area that the blade closes onto, and you'll be fine.

i did mine myself and just uses a dremel withj an assortment of rolls and some time, really just take your time and youll be fine, and i think jrp did a writeup somewhere so search that up

Do any of them send you a ported tb and you send yours back after you install it?

Most of them will charge you the core and on return, refund the core charge.
Maybe some of these sponser will ping in and reply with there information and addresses. I know Smokin87TA has the services..

Look under ls1 throttle bodys,and you;ll find companys that do em CNC sop ther all done the same NO veryinces betweem them Im pretty sure you can send yours in ,with your order and they ship that day with no core

Do they do the half blade mod and bump stop mod? They don't polish it from I could see. I have a spare TB waiting for this to be done to.

Not sure on the bump stop and half blade, but I'd call'em up or shoot them an Email. I know they dont polish the outside if thats what you mean.
