Default I want to buy a 2 step

Hey all,

I need some help on what type of two step to buy. I have a rossler built 400 with T-brake that I have only used about three times and I would like to buy a two-step to use with the T-brake.

What kind do I need to get for my LS1?

Thats for the help!

Get the Lingenfelter one. you cut one wire, plug in the coil pack connectors, find a place for the box and you're done.

I would say harlan but he doesn't make em' anymore. I do however like the design of the Ling. 2step, i looked at it recently. I'm a M6 and plan on picking one up w/ my 9" and slicks before the summer.

MSD makes a 2-step but it would be alot more work to hook-up. Should work the same though. I believe it only comes with the lil box abd a few RPM pills. If you think about it, it's like paying an extra 100 for a pre-made wiring harness, when you get the Ling. 2-step hahaha

That's for an auto though. There's always all sorts of wiring threads regarding manuals though and usually each one is a little different.

The manual is set up with the clutch or lineloc as the on/off switch. When they are active so is the 2-step, when they are released so is the 2-step rev limiter.

what's the difference if you gotta splice 40 wires or 2?

They are all color coded and there is a wealth of info on this site and others.

Try something new man! It's how you learn!

lol I'll end up splicing it to my fog lights or something. wires and me just dont mix. simplicity as far as wiring is how I'd have to go. I've wondered about that kit for a while now and since the OP started the thread, may as well get some info from it
