Default EWP worth it on cam and bolt on 98 Z28?

Hey guys I've been looking at the electric water pumps and was wondering if the mpg you save would paid for the water pump itself within a year, or how long woild it take, I like it mostly for looks and hope to gain 10hp with it.

I would seriously doubt the MPG gain would save you enough to actually justify the purchase. However if you really like the look, the 6-10hp you will gain with it as well as the slight MPG advantage should certainly justify the cost. I would buy one.

A gain is is a gain but a LS1 EWP is costly so try to do other stuff 1st, like a UD pulley

Yeah the power gain to cost ratio is just way to high and I could not see justifying one unless your stock water pump was starting to go out.

plenty of other mods will do better and cheaper...

I didn't lose mpg until I did my cam...

anytime you increase the efficiency of the engine mpg has the potential to increase (as long as you restrain your right foot)
