well I might be buying this ported throttle body from this guy and its from a 99 and I have a 2002 TA I was wondering if from 98-02 were all the same thanks Joe

nope, the 98-99 TBs had a different cam. You'll have to take it apart and replace the cam. No big deal Only requires a T15 torx bit.

what do you mean buy cam not the cam in the motor

I have a 98 TB on my car. Switched over to a LS6 intake. Now I have slack in my cable. Besides the cam, is the bracket location any different? https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-external-engine/819936-tb-help.html
