Default Add bullets to Hooker cat-back?

My hooker cat back is WAY too noisy.

Can I add two bullet mufflers to the exhaust pipes that carry the gas past the muffler? JC Whitney sells these, for example.

Theyre xpensive but its polished stainless steel. How do you think theyd look in back?

someone added a pair of glasspaks to a loudmouth with good results.

I added a dynomax bullet in the I-pipe of my hooker catback. It sounded great for about two weeks and then it seemed like the sound deadening just gave out. I have seriously considered swapping mine out for a higher quality bullet muffler that will not increase in sound over time. In other words I don't recommend the dynomax bullet to quiet down a hooker catback... at least permanently.

I never realized just how loud my hooker was until I let a friend drive the car and I drove his behind him. I was really surprised, Does that muffler do anything other than muffle the sound at idle. LOL. I still am keeping it but yea I know what you mean when you say its loud.

you should have put the title as "put a couple of bullets in a hooker". probably would have gotten more responses.

i just have a hooker muffler and imo it sounds great. Loud when you are on it but just crusing around its nice. But i would say overall its a quite sound compaired to others. I am just saving up for the GMMG cat back.
