Default Oil dipstick tube question!

Does the tube bend around the starter or does it go towards the inside then curve into the hole? I've messed around with the shape of my dipstick tube and it really dosen't look like it came from an LS1 anymore, lol, stupid me. If anyone has a pic of it out of the car feel free to post it, please! Thanks!

once it is bent out of shape it might not read the correct level of fluid. you might be better off buying a new one.

Could just get a Lokar one.

You can bend it to any shape you want.

Yeah, broke it last night, I was looking into the Lokar, saw a post with some pics, looks pretty cool. How flexible is it exactly? Either way i'd rather buy that 1 then a stocker.
