Default Has your MTI Clear Lid cracked?

I'm thinking of replacing my SLP Lid w/ an MTI Clear..

How many people have had cracking issues? I like how clean the SLP lid is, but I think the clear piece is just neat looking!

How long have you had the MTI Clear Lid?

Oh well. I have halos too, I guess I 'll get the clear lid. One time a trash bag got sucked in there and I didn't know it for days. Clear lid would solve that with a quickness.

It did looked cool w/ K&N but the seal of that filter sucked. I kept putting foam seal on it on top of the K&N seal they provided with the package. At the end it still sucking dirt. You guys might want to check into that, if you have a clear lid it would be easier. Tight seal Fram filter> cool looking K&N but suckass filter.

Mine cracked, but, it may have had to do with my rough N20 learning curve, as it got 'frozen' a couple times.

How in the hell did you suck up a trash bag?? Got stuck on the outside of the filter??

My buddy's CF lid doesn't fit exactly right... It seems to have deformed where the latches are..

My SLP lid fits fine, but that K&N seal wore out.
