Default Will running my TSP Duals out the back change the sound?

When I did my exhaust setup a while back I ended up going with Pacesetter LT's and TSP Duals/Dynomax Bullets. Well this winter Im doing an MS4 and Yank SS4000 and I'm getting tired of my interior rattling apart so I'm thinking about running the exhaust out the back of the car. But I was searching and alot of people said that when you run it out the back it makes it sound like crap....which is a problem bc I (and everyone else that hears the car) love the way it sounds. Is this true? And is it just with the dynomax bullets? If so maybe I'll order up some Sweet thunders instead to use. Just wondering before I pay to have it done. Thanks

Yes adding more pipe changes the sound (makes it sound more like a straignt piped truck IMO). I personally don't care for the sound of duals ran all the way out the back but some people like it.

Yeah... Pretty sure I'd rather leave my interior intact.

A good rule of thumb when dealing with a really bad *** street car is... The more of a headache it is to drive, the badder it is!

When I ran mine out the back it brought back the rasp. I changed it back after two days.

I wonder if you cut the turn downs off would it cut down on some of the interior rattles.

Listen buddy...
I need to get some idle clips of mine.. Maybe even some driving down the HWY... I am running a similar set up..

Pacesetter Long Tubes into Lanes 3 in. True duals w/ 18in "Twister" out the back into a custom 3in CME...

Guarenteed you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer sounding car with the G5X3 and 3600 stall...

NO rasp whatsoever, NO backfiring.. Just a smooth, aggressive sounding 4th gen..

I say go for it!! What do you have to lose.. except maybe a little of your hearing..

This is interesting. Would cutting the turn downs off get rid of the rattles? I might try it just to see. I mean it won't hurt anything really. And they'd be cutting them off anyways if they run em out the back. What do you guys think?

Otherwise, hell, I'm not sure how running them out the back would change the sound at all. Maybe I'll just go for it.

They said that they would have to cut it down to 2.5 instead of 3" pipe though for the short pieces of pipe that run from the turn downs to the rear. Will this effect performance at all. When does 2.5" become restrictive?
