Default Throttle cable adjustment(no tcs)

I put my ported throttle body on yesterday and now there is quite a bit of slack on the cable...I can push the gas pedal in about an inch before anything happens...its really annoying and kinda hard to keep from taking off too fast haha. I've searced but the only thing I found is to shorten the cable...any suggestions?

if your cable is same as mine, as it loops back towards the back of engine there is a connection (plastic) just pop apart and it basically self adjusts . then put back together the connection. simple even for me. i had to do this when i added a 80MM TB.
