Default Cut out throwing off computer?

Is it possible that frequently opening and closing my cut out could cause my ecu to be confused and lose power?

how close is the cut out reletive to the header. is it off the header, and inbetween the upstream and down stream o2 sensors, or is it pass the passanger side door?

Id put it on a dyno run a a/f meter and see whats up, check for codes. When you have a quick exit for exhaust gas your power band moves forward.

You always lose torque and gain power with the cutout open. It feels down on power due to the loss of scavenging. No PCM problems.
