i am pretty sure you can use them, 5.3L trucks should have the direct plug in coilpacks, but don't quote me on that

You can use the truck coils. You'll have to use the truck brackets, plug wires, and move your fuel inlet fitting. I just bought a set of aftermarket billet fuel rails instead of messing with the stock rail. Ive ran them on both of my set ups.

When I had the stock rail I modified my coil bracket, thats alot easier.

Looking at it off the car it looks kinda odd... but once you bolt it on everything looks like its supposed to.

I felt a little nervous about bending mine...didn't want it to kink, or split.
At the time my camaro was my only way to work, and I didnt have all the extra parts laying around like i do now.

i bought an lq4 with 9,000 miles on it and it came with the coil packs. i pulled the camaro ones with 90,000 miles and sold them. when i was putting the fuel rail on and found out about the inlet problem, i really had no choice. i only had to move it a little and it didnt even start to kink.
