Default Fast 90 Fitment Issues??????

It's bad enough that I've spent about 3 hours porting this intake, now I put it on the engine to port match the intake to the heads. Guess what, the lower part of the neck where the throttle body attaches hits both the steam tube and the top bolt of the water pump. Has anyone else had similar issues? I bent the steam tube and ground down the water pump bolt area. I hope it's now OK.

I think you may need the 01-02 ls6 style coolant pipe but i have heard of people making the stock one work with some fabrication

Well I've got about 4 hours invested in porting this manifold, I had to open up the runners about 150" to match the ports on my heads. It seems to me Fast could have opened the runners up a little more at the factory. When I got the manifold they were only very slightly over an inch wide and the ports in my heads were almost 1 3/16".

Well I see that point but what if they DID open it up, but then the customer had a narrow port on his head, that would cause a bigger issue 'cos now it's gonna mess up the flow real bad 'cos of the step, so it's safe to build it narrow and let the customer port it to match the heads.
