Default 1st time porting

I will be porting my first throttle body this weekend and i have been going through pages and reading up but i have a few questions. First off, the knife edge blade part. Do you do the knife edge on both sides? Also putting in the stainless steel tubes. and putting in the metal filler. Can you get the stainless steel tubes at homedepot or somewhere equivalent? Also what size tubes sould i get? And how will do i know if they are lined up correctly? It is my throttle body off my only car so i cant afford to mess it up. So I'm tring to make sure i do it right the first time.

Congrats on doing this,,you will be happy with your results.
You will want to knife edge the face edge only, top and bottom
i have never done the epoxy, there are some dangers to doing it, and really, it shows no gains. You can clean those roguh edges to merge your air area in nicely..

Have fun and Good Luck!!

wow that looks awesome. I rather just do that. You got pretty thin on your edges there. What grit sand paper did you use?

Well by this next week, semi custom exhaust, slp lid, smooth bellows, the air box free mod, p&p throttle body, and throttle body bypass will be all completed. Hopefully it will be a different feeling car
