Default HELP!! EGR silicone on freeze plug

Ok so I am removing the tube from the intake manifold... does it matter what kind of silicone i use on the freese plug? I bought just the clear silicone sealant or should i go back to the store and get another tube of something else that is more for heat temperature?

I didn't use anything to seal mine. It's an expandable freeze plug. The more you tighten down, to more it expands, creating an airtight seal.
