Default Slp Lid Question

im getting an slp lid and i was wondering if i should get the smooth bellows along with it of if i should just keep the stock one

That is all it really does is make everything look better. Don't get it for performance unless it has the other end attatched to a supercharger.

im fine with the way the other one looks bc its just not worth 60 to me

good, "if" you wanted a cleaner look for cheap you could check out the fernco mod.....i wouldnt recommend it because it has a tendency to crack the lid unless properly prepared

SLP lids have more flex than most other lids i've dealt with, which is a plus.
The smooth bellows is an expensive, nice looking piece,,,but thats it.

lid=good purchase
bellows=waste of money unless you are concerned with appearances
just buy the lid, you'll find that most did this

I have an early SLP lid. It does not fit well, so beware.

Beware of what? The old lid? Well since its the old style and they are not around anymore, the warning is not needed. I have an SLP lid and it fits great.

I'm sure the smooth bellows makes a small difference....not to mention an over all cleaner look....
