Default Kooks or Jet Hots GP???

I need some input here. I'm debating over the Jet Hots for $504.00 or the Kooks (uncoated) for $489.00. If that is the price range I want would there be a performance gain with the Kooks that would warrant getting them over the Jet Hots, which of course are coated?

To get the Kooks coated with Jet Hot coating you will pay another $279. There might be a hp diff of 2-3hp.
