Default what muffler is the best...X-pipe involved...Opinions please

I am gonna get an X-pipe, I have stock headers on my SS, but not gonna be that way forever, and I want your opinions on mufflers and with the 3" X-pipe will I have two inlets into the muffler?? or two mufflers?
set me straight here...

Well, you COULD use a single muffler with two inlets and two outlets, but that would pretty much defeat the purpose of dual exhaust. There are a lot of mufflers to choose from, I'm going with dynomax bullets but other choices include flowmaster one chambers, spintech, borla (XR's - I think), basically anything with small overall dimensions and good straight through flow.

Using the search feature with "dual exhaust" should get you some more info.

Thanks for the good info. Have you seen the chambered exhaust on Stainless Works Exhaust, the sponsor at the top of page??

Yeah, they're a little pricey but you'd give up almost no ground clearence which is very cool. I bet they sound really good, too.
