Default What is the best LTs for a lowered car?

I have Intrax 2" drop on my 98'SS .I had Macs and they were fine never had a prob. I put SLP LTs on and they are too low. I knew it would be low but I had to try. Now Im wondering if there is a set of LTs that dont hang as low? If not, I will have to go back to Macs I guess.

The Macs did make good power, but I put a TR 224 cam in and going to be installing better heads and was told LTs would help produce more power. Personally I was happy with my Macs but the grass is always greener on the other side if you know what I mean,so I switched.

QTP header and Y pipe fit very good on my friends car.....I am getting QTP headers in a little while, I plan on lowering my car as well, but only like an 1" I already have trouble with a lot of drive ways and areas in my town.....There are tons of scratches on the bottom of my front bumper

With a 2" drop good luck with any LT's. I have FLP LT's & my car is dropped 1.5". I haven't scraped the LT's themselves. The only thing that ever scrapes is the y-pipe. They do tuck up the best I've seen though.

Thanks to all! I believe I will sell the SLPs and Xpipe and give the QTPs a try!
Thanks,Steve

QTP's or hooker/jet hot should do you good.

I run FLP's and the pipes are tighter than the stock exhaust. From a side view you can not see them below the SLP subframes.Of course I added a flowmaster collector and rewelded the whole Y-pipe so it gave the best clearence with no banging.

I would go with KOOKS. I've seen a couple of lowered cars with them and there's a lot of room.

HydroDesign I have yet to get my car dyno'd so I don't have any numbers. I did gain 21rwhp with FLP's on my 01 SS.

I've got hooker LT's with a two inch Intrax drop and they haven't scraped yet.
