Default Want a Deeper Exhaust Note

Since putting longtubes on my car, I've been a bit bothered by the tone of the Loudmouth. It's loud (obviously), and I like that, but it's just not very deep. I loved the way it sounded with the stock manifolds, but now I'm not so sure.

So my question is this: What's the deepest sounding exhaust with longtubes? Of course I want something that flows well, too. And I'm considering true duals, but would like the opinions to be limited to cat-back setups for now.

Thanks,
Josh

Hooker, GMMG, or Magnaflow would most likely do it. Corsa and Borla are a little high pitched for me. If you can get through inspections, then duals are unbeatable.

Go with Hooker, Magnaflow, or GMMG.
GMMG= Deep Deep Deep system, even alows you to hear the cam lobes. very nice.
Hooker= I belive if I'm not mistaken, this ystem was designed to run with the Hooker LTs, so they might sound nice.
Magnaflow= nice throaty sound, nice polish job on the tips and muffler, propably the best looking system.

Another vote for the Hooker system. I don't have headers yet, but the exhaust has a nice deep note. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it.

1 vote for dynomax bullet race muffler. $35 for the muffler from Summit or Jegs. put it in ur intermediate pipe, get a y-pipe made after the axle and then some tips. should rage from 150-250 depending on labor and the kind of tips and pipe u use. I think it's one of the BEST sounding tones on a LS1.

I have a Hooker 3' with a G2 y-pipe and stock manifolds. Awsome exhaust notes. A bit of resonance until 80 mph then its just sweet tunes
