Default Loudmouth?

Yeah, I have heard the bad stuff said about Loudmouth, but is it realy that bad? If you don't like the sound then just put in one of the bullit mufflers on the market. Borla and Dynomax makes these muffflers, as well as many many others, and this has been done to this system with great outcomes. Also, what is "resonence" I have been in a car with Loudmouth, and love the stock sound, so whats the big deal with this "resonance", I have never heard it before, what is it?

Resonence is at about 1600-1700 rpm where it seems to drone real bad. I think thats what most people are talking about. I have it on my car with FLP's and ORP. It's pretty loud but it dosen't really bother me. It is defintally not louder then the damn 12 bolt.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhh, well, I have lived with that myself with Flowmaster. At exactly 2000rpm the "drone" is incredable. To tell you the truth, it is almost as loud as WOT so if its like that in Loudmouth I could car less.

had mine with factory port matched manifolds (basically shorty headers), gutted cats, and an SLP "no crush" Y-pipe......

the combo was LOUD but it never bothered me.....I really liked it....no real drone...only thing bad was it "back fired" (poped) really bad.....

I had a flowmaster before the Loudmouth and the Flowmaster had more drone......

I think the Loud Mouth is the best sounding catback available for the LS1 f-body, period. It is also argueably one of, if not the best flowing of the catbacks. I have it and do not have a problem at all with too much resonence that is troublesome to my ears.
